This Connecticut non-profit provides services to new immigrants and refugees to help them become self-sufficient and contributing members of the community. Among others, services include resettlement, job placement and training, translation and interpretation, and mentoring.

Red Cards / Tarjetas Rojas

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) Red Cards provide information on your constitutional rights and how to assert them. Request free cards from IRLC, print your own, or pick them up at any WHPL location. Cards are available in many languages.
Free screenings for immigrants to determine their eligibility to remain in the U.S. legally. They provide information on legal rights for those detained by an immigration official (ICE) and also how immigrants can protect their families.
