Connecticut Screenwriters Operation Procedures

Currently, the Connecticut Screenwriters Group is meeting in person at the Noah Webster Library and over Zoom.

Connecticut Screenwriters formed in April 2004. The group’s main objective is to provide feedback on original scripts. Every month a new volunteer moderator is selected from the group to oversee the meeting, and to facilitate the distribution of scripts.

The group is geared to those with some screenwriting experience; the group is not instructor-led. New attendees are welcome; those individuals who attend meetings regularly, and review other submitted scripts, then qualify to have their own script(s) reviewed by the group. Age 18 and older only.

West Hartford Fiction WritersSecond Monday Every Month

West Hartford Fiction Writers formed in 2005, with the objective of providing feedback on original fiction. The group typically meets on the second Monday of every month at the Noah Webster Library. Currently, the group meets virtually on Zoom and in-person in the library’s Board Room.

A new volunteer moderator is selected from the group each month. New attendees are welcome; only those attending regularly qualify to have their fiction reviewed by the group. Age 18 and older.

The Faxon PoetsThird Saturday Every Month

The Faxon Poets Group was formed in 2002. The group typically meets on the third Saturday of every month at Noah Webster Library and will be a hybrid meeting (both through Zoom and in person).

The mission of the group is to provide a space for poets to read their poems aloud and receive feedback. The group has self-published a number of collections featuring local poets from the group.
